Site reviews
Every dating platform we have rated, ordered by the score its members gave it. Lowest first, because that is the information most people arrive here looking for.
Each score is the plain average of member reviews for that platform — no editorial weighting, no paid placement. The review count sits next to every average, and it matters: a 1.0 from twenty-five members tells you far more than a 1.0 from two.
How to read these pages
Open any platform to see its score breakdown, the full set of member reviews, and what people consistently report. A few things are worth knowing before you do.
- Low scores are normal in this category. Most platforms here sit between 1.0 and 2.0. That is partly the industry and partly the nature of review sites — satisfied users rarely come back to write about it. Read the reviews themselves, not only the number.
- Look for repeated specifics. One person saying nobody replied is an anecdote. Fifteen people describing conversations that stop the moment credits run out and resume the moment they are topped up is a pattern, and patterns are the useful signal.
- Check the date. Platforms change hands, change pricing and occasionally clean up their operation. A complaint from three years ago may no longer describe what you would experience today.
- An unrated platform is not a safe platform. Some sites here have no reviews yet. That means nobody has told us about them, nothing more.
Before you pay for any dating platform
Whatever the score says, these five checks take about ten minutes and will save most people a great deal of money.
- Find the real cost of one message. Not the headline subscription — the per-message or per-credit price. Work out what a two-week conversation would actually cost you.
- Reverse-search a profile photo. Drop it into Google Images or TinEye. If the same face appears on stock photography sites or under other names, you have your answer.
- Read the cancellation terms before you subscribe, not after. Look specifically for automatic renewal and for what has to happen for a refund.
- Test support before you spend. Send a question. If nobody answers a pre-sale enquiry, nobody will answer a billing dispute.
- Watch for the money moment. Any request for a transfer, gift card, customs fee, visa fee or emergency payment ends the conversation. There is no version of that story that is true.
